This 2018 Malayalam crime drama, directed by Madhupal and inspired by a real-life murder case, follows Ajayan, a mild-mannered young hotel worker close to a woman who runs a catering business. When she is fatally stabbed one night, the unsolved case drags on for a year until the crime branch, under public pressure, builds a case against Ajayan. Assigned a legal aid lawyer named Hanna, he must fight the charges as she digs into the circumstances behind the killing.
