Oru Kaidhiyin Diary

This 1985 Tamil thriller follows a man released after more than two decades in prison, who returns to find that the son he barely knew has grown up to become a respected police officer under a different identity. As his backstory unfolds, it's revealed he was falsely implicated in his wife's death after a corrupt politician's betrayal destroyed their family, and he sets out on a calculated campaign to punish those responsible, putting him on a collision course with his own son's investigation.
