Set in a picturesque Kerala home, this Ram Gopal Varma drama follows a middle-aged photographer whose comfortable family life with his wife and teenage daughter is disrupted when his daughter's visiting friend, a carefree young woman studying away from her divorced mother, comes to stay with them. An unexpected attraction develops between the man and the girl, gradually threatening the trust and bonds within his household. The film draws inspiration from an American drama and an earlier Indian film exploring similar themes of forbidden attraction.
