A young man obsessed with a woman he saw in a dream searches for her, guided by a single distinguishing feature he remembers. His search grows complicated when his father arranges his marriage to another woman from a nearby village, setting up a tangle of family expectations and romantic entanglements. The 1998 Tamil musical comedy, a remake of a Telugu original, follows the resulting confusion among the two families as feelings and loyalties collide.
