A theater actor who plays Raavan in a stage production rescues a heartbroken young man from a suicide attempt and takes him under his wing, casting him in his play while trying to mend his fractured relationship with an ex-girlfriend. In the process of meddling in his new friend's love life, the actor ends up complicating his own romantic entanglements and friendships through a series of deceptions. The 2013 Hindi comedy-drama, directed by Rohan Sippy, is adapted from a French film and unfolds partly as the protagonist recounts events to a psychiatrist.
