Set in a village near Erode, the story follows Shanmugam, a respected village elder who inherits his family's traditional role of settling local disputes and delivering judgments. His authority and family life are tested when his brothers' marriages and old grudges tied to a past family tragedy resurface, drawing him into a conflict rooted in a rival relative's long-held resentment. As tensions escalate, secrets from an earlier generation's ruling begin to threaten the harmony of his household.
