Set in a village near Tirupathur, this Tamil action comedy follows Arumpon, a devoted young man determined to protect and find a good marriage match for his adopted sister Thulasi despite opposition from relatives on both sides of his family. His efforts to arrange her future are complicated by an old rivalry with a local troublemaker named Ayyanar, whose feud with Arumpon and his cousin eventually forces the family into a marriage neither side initially wants. The story follows the fallout of this union and the escalating conflicts it triggers within the extended family and village.
