A reformed criminal takes employment at a factory and through dedication restores the business to profitability. When the owner dies, he bequeaths his wealth to the worker, prompting the owner's son to seek revenge, believing his inheritance was wrongfully taken. The conflict unfolds through the worker's attempts to prove his integrity while navigating family relationships and threats to those he loves.
