মুক্তির গান

Bengali · 1995 · 80 min · documentary

Directed by Tareque Masud, Catherine Masud

This documentary preserves rare archival footage from Bangladesh's 1971 liberation war, capturing a cultural troupe that traveled through the country performing patriotic music, puppet theater, and dramatic performances to bolster the spirits of refugees and freedom fighters. Compiled by Bangladeshi filmmakers Tareque and Catherine Masud using material shot by American cinematographer Lear Levin alongside other historical sources, the film documents both the group's artistic performances and their journeys across the liberated zones during the conflict.

Where to watch in USA

We checked the streaming catalogues and it isn’t on any service we cover — in any country, not just yours. Films leave and return, so this can change.

We check JioHotstar, Eros Now, Sun NXT, Prime Video, ZEE5 and 13 others. If it is streaming somewhere we don’t read, it won’t show up here — tell us and we’ll add it.
