A Tamil-language action comedy about a morally compromised police officer in Chennai who abuses his authority for personal gain, only to find himself entangled with the city's police commissioner and a manipulative politician. His path crosses with a journalist he falls for and a mute coffee-shop worker, and a violent crime against the latter pushes him toward confronting the corruption and power around him. The story is a remake of an earlier Telugu film, with one of its original actors reprising his part.
