When a toxic chemical spill near Ooty triggers a zombie outbreak, a traffic police officer named Karthik must fight through infected crowds after his young sister disappears. He joins forces with a cardiologist he secretly loves and a team of doctors trying to develop a cure, as the group tries to flee the overrun hill town for Coimbatore while the infection keeps spreading. Along the way, personal conflicts, including a vengeful local politician, complicate their escape.
