This Tamil action drama follows Maruthu, a market laborer in Rajapalayam who stands up against wrongdoing while living with his grandmother and best friend. When he falls for Bhagyam, he learns her mother was murdered by a corrupt municipal chairman after she dared to challenge him in an election, and Maruthu vows to seek justice for that killing. As the powerful official tries to silence the witnesses who could expose him, tensions escalate between the two sides.
