This 1989 Hindi romantic drama follows Amit, a young man from a modest household, and Reema, a wealthy classmate, who fall for each other during their school years. Their bond is threatened by Vicky, the mayor's spoiled and violent son who has set his sights on Reema and uses his gang and his father's influence to keep the couple apart. As pressure mounts on both families, Amit and Reema must decide how far they will go to stay together despite the danger surrounding them.
