A petty thief discovers he is the descendant of Raja Lingeswaran, the noble builder of a village dam, and is enlisted to help save both the dam and an ancient temple from destruction by a corrupt politician. Set in the small village of Solaiyur, the story follows the protagonist as he uncovers his grandfather's heroic past while navigating his own conflicted motivations.
