Set around the fading port town of Kodungalloor in Kerala, this Malayalam drama unfolds after an unrecognizable body washes up on shore, prompting three different women to come forward and each claim to have known the deceased boatman known as Kutty Srank. Through their conflicting testimonies, the film traces his life across different places and relationships, including his time under a violent local strongman's daughter and later among a coastal community where he becomes involved in a traditional stage drama. Mammootty stars as the enigmatic title character, whose true identity and fate are pieced together through the women's differing memories.

Where to watch in USA

We checked the streaming catalogues and it isn’t on any service we cover — in any country, not just yours. Films leave and return, so this can change.

We check JioHotstar, Eros Now, Sun NXT, Prime Video, ZEE5 and 13 others. If it is streaming somewhere we don’t read, it won’t show up here — tell us and we’ll add it.
