This animated Hindi-language film retells the Hindu legend of Krishna, drawing on Srila Prabhupada's writings and the Srimad-Bhagavatam, in which the god Vishnu takes human form to counter the cruel ambitions of the ruler Kans in Mathura. Born to Devaki but raised secretly in the village of Vrindavan by chief Nanda and his wife, the child Krishna grows up alongside his brother Balram and companions like Radha, displaying extraordinary abilities while facing a series of monstrous adversaries sent by his uncle. The story follows his childhood adventures and mounting confrontations with Kans's forces as the two rivals move toward an eventual reckoning.
