Kirataka is a 2011 Kannada romantic comedy set amid the long-standing feud between two rival villages. Nandisha, an aimless small-town flirt nicknamed Gooli, falls for Nethra, a young woman from a college in a neighboring town, while a friend's botched attempt to elope with a girl from the other village inflames the tension further. As her brother swears revenge for the perceived insult, Nandisha must navigate the escalating village rivalry to pursue his romance.
