This 1993 Hindi comedy-drama centers on a harsh, wealth-obsessed businessman whose troubled family life is upended when a mischievous orphan girl enters his household. Her presence gradually softens his rigid attitudes and pushes him to reconsider how he treats his siblings and the people around him. Loosely based on the story behind the film Annie and the Little Orphan Annie comic strip, the story blends family tension with lighthearted moments.
