A group of four college friends—two couples in the midst of budding romances—get drawn into danger after staging a fake kidnapping as part of a reckless bet to extort money from a wealthy man. When the scheme spirals out of control following an unexpected death, the friends find themselves entangled in a deeper conspiracy involving blackmail and murder, forcing them to evade suspicion while one of their own becomes the target of hidden enemies. The 1992 Hindi action thriller, directed by Abbas–Mustan, marked Akshay Kumar's breakout role and launched a long-running series of unrelated films sharing the Khiladi name.
