Directed by Bharathiraja, this 1986 Tamil drama follows Chinnappa Das, a former convict who returns to his coastal village in Kanyakumari after his release. When he encounters a village schoolteacher named Jennifer, her sharp words and quiet integrity awaken a gentler side of him, and the two grow close through meetings along the shoreline. As his affection for her deepens, complications arise from her family's plans for her to marry someone else, setting the stage for an emotional conflict.

Where to watch in USA

We haven’t been able to find out. The catalogues we check have no entry for this film at all, which is common for older and regional releases — it means nobody could tell us, not that it isn’t streaming.

We check JioHotstar, Eros Now, Sun NXT, Prime Video, ZEE5 and 13 others. If it is streaming somewhere we don’t read, it won’t show up here — tell us and we’ll add it.
