In Afghanistan shortly after the Taliban's fall, two Indian reporters covering the war-torn country team up with a local driver and an American photojournalist. Their trip turns dangerous when a former Taliban fighter forces his way into their vehicle and compels them to help him reach the Pakistani border, sending the group on a tense trek through a devastated landscape. Filmed on location in Afghanistan, the story draws on the director's own experiences as a journalist there.
