Set in a Gujarati village, the story follows Jayesh Patel, a man who believes men and women deserve equal treatment despite his traditional family's preference for a male heir. When he discovers his pregnant wife is carrying another daughter, he secretly plans to flee with her and their young daughter to a distant village known for welcoming and respecting women, hoping to protect his unborn child from his family's expectations. Their escape sets off a chain of comic and dramatic complications as they try to evade his parents and confront the village's deep-seated gender bias.
