This 1972 Hindi musical romance centers on Madhu, who marries Ravi despite objections from her Thakur brother, leading to a family estrangement. The couple settles into Ravi's household with his younger brother Vijay, who falls for a schoolmate named Neeta, unaware she is the Thakur's daughter already betrothed to another man.
