This Malayalam fantasy romance follows James, an artist and businessman, and his banker wife Alice, who married despite her father's objections over James's uncertain career. After seven contented years together and the birth of a child, mounting career pressures and growing misunderstandings push the couple toward divorce. Just before it is finalized, a serious car accident leaves James comatose, where he encounters a vision of St. Peter that forces him to confront the choices that led his marriage astray.
