Jallikkattu

Set in a remote hillside village in Kerala, this Malayalam thriller follows the chaos that erupts after a buffalo breaks free from a local butcher just before dawn. As the animal rampages through the community, damaging property and crops, the villagers band together in an increasingly frantic and disorganized effort to track it down, exposing old rivalries and simmering social tensions along the way. A skilled poacher is eventually brought in to help with the hunt, further complicating relationships within the village.
