A king in a past life seduces and abandons a poor woman he meets in a forest, driving her to take her own life while swearing revenge. Reborn, he encounters her spirit, now determined to seduce and claim him, forcing his devout wife to call on her faith to protect their marriage. The film, directed by B. Vittalacharya as a remake of an earlier Kannada feature, was noted for its elaborate visual effects for its time.
