In a Kerala town, a terminally ill man seeks to cheat death by capturing a shape-shifting cobra's mate, hoping to force the creature to surrender a legendary immortal essence. The cobra takes human form as a woman to hunt for her captured partner, along the way intervening violently in the lives of men who abuse women, while a local police inspector becomes entangled in both the search for her and the mounting killings. Directed by Jennifer Lynch and starring Mallika Sherawat, the film blends horror and mythology around the Indian legend of the nagin.
