Heroes

This 2008 Hindi drama follows two aspiring filmmakers who set out to shoot a documentary meant to discourage young people from joining the Indian Armed Forces. They travel by motorcycle across northern India to hand-deliver personal letters written by soldiers who died in combat to their surviving families. Along the way, the stories of these families' grief and pride gradually reshape the students' skeptical view of military service.
