Set in a 1990s fishing village in Karnataka, this drama follows Gulabi, an unmarried midwife whose love of cinema is fulfilled when she receives a television from a grateful family. Her home becomes a gathering place for village women seeking refuge from their daily lives, but mounting communal tensions and the disappearance of her closest friend threaten both her sanctuary and her place in the community.
