Set in a Palakkad Brahmin community between 1937 and 1947, this bilingual Malayalam-Tamil drama follows a young widow as she confronts the rigid social customs imposed on her. Directed and produced by Mohan Sharma, who also appears in the cast alongside Nishan, Samvrutha, Nedumudi Venu, Sukumari Nair, Y. G. Mahendraa, Nalini and Fathima Babu, it is envisioned as the opening chapter of a three-film series chronicling the community across different decades.
