This 1997 Hindi crime drama, directed by Partho Ghosh and remade from a 1996 Tamil film, follows Mustafa, a devout hitman raised and controlled by a crime boss he regards as a father figure. His growing love for a nightclub dancer named Kavita draws him into conflict with rival gangsters, and her sudden death pushes him to reconsider his violent way of life. As he tries to make amends and protect people close to him, old rivalries and political interests close in around him.
