In a hill town, a young librarian named Sethu falls for a book-stealing girl named Nandhini while his father, a PT teacher, gets caught up in a dispute with a local bar owner. When the bar owner turns up dead and evidence implicates his father, Sethu sets out to uncover the truth and prove his innocence. A separate thread follows a contract sniper tasked with eliminating a scientist, whose path intersects with the town and its residents.
