Dredd

Set in a crime-ridden future America, this adaptation of the Judge Dredd comic follows Karl Urban's title character, a street judge empowered to act as police, jury and executioner in the sprawling Mega-City One. Tasked with evaluating a rookie partner with psychic powers, Dredd finds himself trapped inside a massive residential tower controlled by a ruthless drug boss, forcing the pair to fight their way through the building's armed residents and enforcers to bring her down. The story unfolds largely through practical sets shot with 3D cameras in South Africa.
