Deewaar

Set decades after the 1971 Indo-Pakistani conflict, this Hindi action thriller follows a group of Indian Army officers held captive in Pakistan under harsh conditions, and the son of one imprisoned major who journeys to find and free him. As official channels fail to secure their release, the prisoners and the son work covertly toward a daring breakout from a heavily guarded jail. The story draws inspiration from the 1963 film The Great Escape and is unrelated to the 1975 film of the same name.
