Chikku Bukku is a 2010 Tamil romance directed by G.K. Manikandan, following a chance meeting between Arjun, a London-based DJ, and Anu, a student, when both are called back to their home village near Karaikudi for family reasons. Their shared train journey unfolds alongside a discovery from an old diary that reveals a decades-old love story from the 1980s involving Arjun's father and two other people, whose choices continue to shape the present generation. The narrative moves between these two time periods to explore how past sacrifices and misunderstandings influence the younger couple's growing bond.
