Chehraa is a 2005 Hindi psychological thriller about Akash and Reena, two psychiatry students whose relationship is upended when Megha enters Akash's life and he becomes infatuated with her. Megha vanishes to protect her mother, and years later, now a psychiatrist, Akash encounters her again as a patient in his hospital, married to a wealthy addict and haunted by threats she cannot explain. The story follows Akash as he tries to piece together what happened to Megha and why she has resurfaced in such a troubled state.
