An aspiring actor struggling to break into Mumbai's film industry takes odd jobs, including work as a courier and dance instructor, while chasing his dream of stardom. After losing out on a coveted film role, he finds support and romantic connection with a choreographer friend, who pushes him to try his luck on a televised dance competition offering the same part he lost. The story follows his personal and professional ups and downs as he balances family obligations back home with his pursuit of a breakthrough in Bollywood.
