Years after retiring from their careers as small-time swindlers known as Bunty Aur Babli, Rakesh and Vimmi Trivedi are living quiet lives in a small Uttar Pradesh town. When a new pair of con artists starts using their old alias to pull off scams, the police once again suspect the original duo, prompting them to track down the impostors themselves. The film follows the escalating rivalry between the two pairs of con artists as they try to outwit each other, featuring Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari.
