Set in North Madras, this sports action drama follows Bhooloham, son of a boxer who died by suicide after a defeat, as he carries a deep-seated grudge against his rival Arumugam and ends up injuring him badly during a televised bout. Guilt-ridden, Bhooloham turns to a quieter life but gets pulled back into the ring when a manipulative TV network boss orchestrates rigged matches and conspiracies for profit, forcing Bhooloham to confront exploitation within the sport. The story follows his efforts to expose the corrupt businessman while dealing with rivalries, personal loss, and a looming high-stakes fight against a dangerous foreign boxer.
