A former army officer, dismissed after a court martial, sets out to learn the truth behind his younger brother's death, which police claim occurred during an encounter over drugs. His inquiries lead him to the sibling's grieving girlfriend, who alleges that a senior police officer and two colleagues were actually responsible for the killing and had fabricated the official account. When legal action fails to bring justice, the officer resolves to confront those he believes are guilty himself. The 2004 Hindi thriller centers on themes of corruption and abuse of power within the police force.
