A poor but educated young man named Viru is haunted by recurring nightmares involving a cave, strange sounds, and a murder. Inspired by tales of a legendary king's hidden treasure and a golden deer, he sets out on a quest to find the riches, hoping to win the hand of Asha, a wealthy woman he loves. Along his journey, he encounters an elderly woman named Bhagi who believes he is her deceased husband from a past life, while his friend Peter accompanies him in his search.
