After losing his parents, a young man starts college while living with an indifferent aunt and worrying about his younger sisters, who have been placed in an orphanage. Struggling financially, he forms an unlikely friendship with a chess-loving undertaker and becomes entangled with an older, married woman who draws him into a secretive and dangerous arrangement involving other women in his aunt's social circle. Adapted from a short story, this Hindi-language drama follows his escalating personal and financial troubles as he tries to reunite with his sisters.
