Ashaant, the Hindi-language version of the Kannada film Vishnu Vijaya, follows two police officers from Bangalore and Bombay who team up to dismantle a criminal network involved in counterfeiting currency. Their investigation is complicated by a strained personal history involving one officer's wife, a past romance, and a family feud with a former chief minister, all while a dancer working at a rival gang's hotel becomes drawn into their operation. As rival crime bosses maneuver against each other and try to sow discord between the two officers, the police must repair their trust to continue the pursuit.
