Set against the backdrop of Bihar's kidnapping trade, this 2005 Hindi crime drama follows Ajay Shastri, a jobless graduate whose ambition to become a policeman is thwarted by his upright father Raghuvansh. When bribery attempts backfire and expose corruption, Ajay drifts into criminal circles, eventually falling in with a local enforcer tied to a powerful politician and gang leader.
