This 1993 Kannada drama, directed by D. Rajendra Babu and starring V. Ravichandran, follows a wealthy landlord's son who grows up craving maternal affection after losing his mother at birth. His father remarries, but the new stepmother is manipulated by her scheming brother into seizing control of the family's wealth, turning the boy into an obedient pawn even as he becomes an adult.
