Set in an old Delhi household, the story follows Rajesh Bauji, a middle-aged man whose ordinary domestic life is upended after a family confrontation over his daughter's relationship. The incident pushes him to adopt a strict personal rule of trusting only what he directly witnesses, leading him to abandon long-held beliefs, quit his job, and reassess the people and assumptions around him. As his unconventional outlook draws both mockery and followers, the film explores ideas of perception and reality through his evolving relationships with family, neighbors, and acquaintances.
