Set in a suburban apartment complex, this Tamil family drama follows engineer Shekar and his wife Chitra as they raise their two children after believing they lost a third baby at birth. The truth emerges that the child, Anjali, actually survived with a severe intellectual disability and has been secretly cared for elsewhere, and her arrival home reshapes the family's relationships and stirs mixed reactions among neighbors. The story centers on how the siblings and the community gradually come to accept Anjali despite prejudice against her disability.
