Set in New York and other American cities, this 2010 Hindi film follows Akash, a bankrupt businessman, and Kiara, a woman reeling from her fiancé's betrayal, who separately attempt suicide and end up crossing paths. After failing at several joint attempts to end their lives, they agree to die together on New Year's Eve, and spend the intervening weeks checking off items on each other's bucket lists, growing closer along the way. The story blends dark comedy and romance as their journey gradually turns into an unexpected love story.
