Anegan is a 2015 Tamil romantic action thriller directed by K. V. Anand, starring Dhanush and Amyra Dastur, that traces the idea of reincarnation across four separate time periods. It follows a modern-day woman who begins experiencing visions and memories tying her to earlier lives, each time finding herself connected to a man who resembles a new colleague in her present life. As she investigates these recurring visions with the help of a psychiatrist and a police officer, the film weaves together stories from historical Burma, a royal past, and a crime-linked past life leading toward the present day.
