Anbe Sivam follows a chance encounter between Anbarasu, a self-important advertising professional, and Nallasivam, a disabled but sharp-witted social worker, who get stranded together in Bhubaneswar after floods cancel their flights to Chennai. Forced to travel together by bus and train, the mismatched pair clash over their opposing outlooks on life while Sivam quietly helps Aras through repeated setbacks along the way. As their journey unfolds, Sivam's own past as an activist and street performer comes to light, revealing how a personal tragedy shaped his beliefs about compassion and human connection.
